After watching Sony Artisan Jason Lanier make his wildly rewarding switch from Nikon to Sony, Chris Bilodeau saw the writing on the wall and knew that Sony's system and its unparalleled hold on mirrorless were calling his name.
Bilodeau begins by raving about the incredibly popular electronic viewfinder. "First, the Electronic Viewfinder. Oh my. Words cannot really convey how much better the EVF is for composing, reviewing, etc." He goes to gush over the debut of the Eye AF feature and it's uncanny ability to track subjects, "I am more impressed with the Eye detection technology. Bilodeau, new to the Sony system, is just cutting his teeth in the Alpha Universe with his recent venture into mirrorless and examination of the α7 series. Looking forward to 2017, he says he can't wait to more extensively use his new system that he calls "a small, but powerful system that continues to improve." Bilodeau's enthusiasm is overflowing and he isn't subtle about it in the least. "I am in love. It has been awhile since anything in the camera world has got me this excited and even better these cameras are always with me."
