When researching new gear, there’s so much to learn. You’ve got countless options, especially in the Sony mirrorless lineup. And while it’s awesome to have options, it can sometimes be overwhelming as well. Russell Sweet

Russell Sweet is a cinematographer for television, commercial, and film projects. He’s based in Los Angeles, California and is well regarded for his creative eye as well as his drone skills. He has recently launched a YouTube channel where he shares gear advice, film tips, and other cinematography-related content. In the video below he breaks down his thoughts on the Sony 50mm f/1.4 G Master. He mentions that it’s a great deal for the quality you get, and we must say, we agree!

Matt Hernandez

Sports and senior photographer Matt Hernandez is a true artist when it comes to lighting. He knows how to make a dynamic and interesting shot in any conditions. Hernandez shares this knowledge on YouTube. In the video below, he shares why he’s planning on purchasing the Sony Alpha 9 III. Curtis Padley

Curtis Padley is a UK-based photographer and filmmaker For stills, he frequently shoots automotive, street, and landscape images. In videography, he focuses heavily on automotive videos in addition to his YouTube content creation. His channel is a trove of gear reviews, technical considerations, and POV vlogs. In this video, he’s talking through the camera that he refers to as the “beast APS-C camera” – the Sony Alpha 6700. He explains that the small body is fantastic for traveling and it's a great upgrade if you have an older Sony model.
